Amy holds a law degree from the Australian National University and a master’s degree in international law from the University of Cape Town. As HiiL’s former MEL Manager, she was responsible for the development, coordination, and quality control of results-based management and donor reporting. These days, she contributes part-time to grantwriting and strategic projects.

Amy has extensive hands-on experience across all levels of the court systems in Australia and South Africa, and has built her career around the principle of free access to law. She speaks French and is working on her Dutch.

Amy splits her time between Amsterdam and Cape Town.
