Iari Vehuliza

Project Manager

At the heart of my work is a strong belief that certain aspects in life should be of fundamental, non-negotiable rights for everyone: education, public health and of course, access to justice. Having witnessed how a single, minor act we do at work can change the course of someone’s life is a constant motivation for me to continuously thrive in this sector.

Iari Vehuliza is a Project Manager at HiiL, contributing to HiiL’s vision and mission by ensuring the projects are delivered effectively in a timely and quality manner. She joined HiiL in June 2026 with a passion that access to justice should be part of everyone’s fundamental rights, and to debunk the myth that justice is inaccessible and expensive.

Prior to HiiL, Iari managed the Project Management Unit at an Amsterdam-based NGO, Aflatoun International, delivering social and financial education for vulnerable children and youth in over 100 countries. She also served the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, focusing on political cooperation and connectivity.

Outside of managing projects at work, she is constantly learning about managing her toddler at home. A self-claimed foodie, she loves exploring different places to eat and drink coffee.
