Through a strategic partnership between HiiL and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, HiiL conducted a nationwide Justice Needs and Satisfaction (JNS) survey in Lebanon and Jordan in early 2017. As part of the sample, we collected data on the justice needs of 1800 Syrian refugees.

In this report, we first aim to highlight the demands for justice of Syrian refugees in their host communities and point out the bright spots and bottlenecks of their justice journeys. Our second goal is to shed light on the prospective justice needs of refugees upon returning to post-conflict Syria.
