The Justice Accelerator’s Demo Day 2022
UNLOCKING THE JUSTICE POTENTIAL IN STARTUPS
February 16th – 15:00 CET | Online Event
Can startups address legal concerns and wider problems of justice? What impact can innovations in the justice sector have compared to the courts? Can startups be more effective at tackling issues related to justice? Can a startup that prioritises people’s justice needs still make a profit?
These questions and more will be explored during the Justice Accelerator’s Demo Day 2022. On 16 February 2022, 18 startups representing seven countries from Africa, the Middle East and Europe will pitch their game-changing justice innovations. Demo Day is an annual flagship event of HiiL’s Justice Accelerator programme, an innovation ecosystem builder dedicated to scaling meaningful tools and services within the justice sector.
The Justice Accelerator Programme
For 10 years, HiiL’s Justice Accelerator programme has supported startups with significant potential to help people prevent or resolve their justice problems.
Startups selected for the programme participate in an intensive 4-month training programme, gain access to customised coaching and mentorship, and receive a €10,000 non-equity fund to help scale their innovation.
The Demo Day 2022
During Demo Day 2022, innovators will present their unique solutions for addressing the justice gap in their respective countries and communities.
The competition is an opportunity for learning and interaction between coaches, alumni, and a global network of Gamechangers reimagining the justice sector in hotspots around the world.
A panel of judges will challenge the innovators with questions about their idea and subsequently choose the top three pitches. The selected winners will receive a grant of €20,000, €10,000 and €5,000, respectively.
If you are looking for the next generation of doers that will bridge the gap between business and justice, this is the place to be.
