Besoins et satisfaction en matière de justice au Kenya
More than 6000 Kenyans opened their homes for us to share their experiences about access to justice. Their most pressing needs are crime, land, and family justice. Courts are prepared to respond, but also have potential to improve even more
The Judiciary of Kenya, in one of their efforts to improve, commisioned HiiL with the development of a JNS survey to understand the needs of Kenyans regarding legal problems. We visited more than 6000 randomly selected adults during Spring 2017, and also interviewed 30 justice leaders and providers, to get a comprehensive, 360 view of the legal experience in Kenya.
Data is now available in the Justice Dashboard.
