Tatiana Saade

Project Officer

But it may be that you hate something while it is good for you, and it may be that you love something while it is bad for you.

Tatiana Saade is a Project Officer SJIP at The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law(HiiL). I joined HiiL on the 1st of March 2024 as the Project Officer based in Lebanon working on the Syrian Justice Innovation Process. I oversee the administrative coordination of numerous stakeholder dialogues, Justice Innovation Lab workshops, trainings, and various events, both online and in-person, whether held in Lebanon or internationally. I organize local and international meetings, events, and conference calls, and I also collaborate with stakeholders and service providers to guarantee the seamless operation and effective management of the activities.

Something I always like to speak about it, is that I managed to start event planning and wedding coordination at a very young age which helped develop skills and expertise very fast. That led me to have my own side hustle job while managing to have a full time job on the side.

Outside of work, I play tennis and indoor cycling on a biweekly basis. I enjoy these two hobbies a lot, as I am a fan of adrenaline and anything that makes my body active and alive. Plus, I’m an extrovert and a very social person when it comes to meeting new people. I can sit in a room and speak with everyone about everything, and still manage to focus on what’s happening around me. I am also a cat person; if you ever lose me, you will probably find me petting a cat or cuddling with one. I am highly interested in knowing more about human rights and laws, where i can expand my expertise in the field, and know more how can I contribute in this initiative.
