Hope Kamukama

Programme Associate, Rwanda

I believe that ” If I can dream it, I can do it”. An idea my brain is able to conceive and host, then I am capable of bringing that idea to life. I love turning ideas into actions, dreams into reality and helping others to do the same.

Hope Kamukama is a HiiL Programme Associate in Rwanda, she joined HiiL in February 2022. With the support of HiiL East Africa Hub, she is in charge of implementing HiiL’s current programmes in Rwanda, which are Acceleration, Ideation and Incubation.
Hope is currently pursuing her MBA in Project Management. Hope likes that HiiL is transforming justice systems into becoming, more accessible, more affordable and easy to understand.

Hope is an experienced Researcher with five years’ experience in conducting and leading research projects that target young people and women in micro and medium businesses.
She also worked as an Entrepreneurial Coach, training youths and women in her community in entrepreneurship and technology, helping them to start and grow their businesses. Furthermore, Hope is the founder of Beautiful Brainz, a social enterprise that supports girls and young women from vulnerable communities in Rwanda to access education.

Hope is an ambitious, open-minded, and proactive communicator committed to bringing a positive impact on her community through empowering girls and women. She has a charismatic personality and always inspires people around her. Hope dreams to live in a world where every girl has access to quality education to utilize her potential and create the life of her dreams.
