I believe that everybody who gives their time to any kind of employer has the right to a safe, fair and inclusive workplace. Rewards are important, but the feeling of belonging, appreciation and purpose at the place where you spend most hours of your day is, in my eyes, essential to a balanced life. By working in HRM I hope I contribute to this; everyday a little bit more.

Gina Hofmeister is Learning & Development / HR Advisor at the Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL). She focuses on employee development and well-being. This includes a.o. the creation of policies, procedures and programs related to learning, training and development, as well as the integration of L & D in the organization. She is the trustee at HiiL and gives guidance to those in need. She has a commercial background where she held various roles as Business and Product Developer in start-ups. Since 2016, Gina works in HRM in international organizations. She holds a Bachelor in Political Culture from Maastricht University and a Master in Management of Cultural Diversity from Tilburg University.

She set up the HR department of a hospitality start-up; published a code of conducts; is a certified Insights Discovery Practitioner.

Gina is a sportive person who always looks for new activities to challenge herself and release stress. Gina enjoys trying out various kind of watersports and dancing styles. She is a true animal lover. She has a dachshund which makes sure she gets her daily exercise. During the weekends you will find her cycling or on long walks at the beach with her husband and the dog.
