The Hague Journal on the Rule of Law (HJRL)
Initiated by HiiL and Cambridge University Press, the Hague Journal on the Rule of Law (HJRL) is the world’s first scientific journal devoted entirely to rule of law studies.
The HJRL is an exciting new journal that provides a forum for the rapidly-expanding field of the rule of law. Its international editorial board invites cutting-edge research from all related disciplines. The Journal aims to deepen and broaden the knowledge of the rule of law and its relation to economic growth, poverty reduction, promotion of democracy, protection of human rights and geopolitical stability. Apart from new scientific insights, the HJRL also carries book reviews and special volumes on major developments and themes in the rule of law field. In addition, practitioners may submit reports and commentaries on current issues in their work, making the Journal a unique forum for knowledge exchange between the academic and practitioner communities.
The HJRL is marketed and distributed by Cambridge University Press for T.M.C Asser Press.
