HiiL Networks
As part of its core mission, HiiL aims to bridge the gap between the practitioner and academic communities. For this purpose HiiL maintains a variety of networks related to our research themes. These networks serve to enhance research by bringing lessons from daily practice to the attention of academia, while at the same time high-end knowledge from researchers all around the world can inform and improve every decision making in governments, courts and corporations.
These networks are facilitated and brought together by HiiL through regular events, specialised seminars and custom made webplatforms that we are currently working to improve.
Hague Rule of Law Network
An international and interdisciplinary group of academics, policy-makers, and practitioners. The Hague Rule of Law Network (HRoLN) brings together professionals sharing a profound interest in the rule of law and a commitment to promoting it worldwide.
Hague Public-Private Governance Network
The Hague Public-Private Governance Network (HPPGN) is a group of experts from academia, practice and the corporate world. They all share a keen professional interest in the involvement of private actors in law and governance in the globalised world of today.
Hague Highest Courts Network
National highest courts judges are increasingly confronted with cases with an international, or transnational dimension. The Hague Highest Courts Network (HHCN) serves as a platform for highest courts judges and senior scholars who are interested in the nexus of globalisation and highest courts.
