Innovating Justice Awards

Innovating Justice Awards

Each year, the most promising justice entrepreneurs compete for the prestigious Innovating Justice Awards. The awards are granted to the entrepreneurs with the most promising innovations, as selected by an international expert jury during the Annual Innovating Justice Forum held in the Peace Palace.

The Innovating Justice Forum is an international event catering for over 200 guests in order to discuss and support innovative ways of approaching justice worldwide.
In 2015 the Innovating Justice Forum showcased the finalists of two challenges: The SME Empowerment Innovation Challenge East & West Africa (powered by Ford Foundation) and the Innovating Justice Challenge 2015. The winners of these challenges received the Innovating Justice Awards 2015. The justice innovators pitch their innovation to an international audience, gain international recognition, and have the opportunity to win seed investments. In 2015, over €80,000 was available in cash prizes. Winners of the Innovating Justice Awards also receive acceleration support with access to funding, networks and expert advice.

The Forum includes pitches by selected justice entrepreneurs, engaging speeches by experts and justice leaders, interactive working sessions and inspiring panel sessions on various topics related to justice innovation.
