HiiL and ACIL Launch the Website of Their Joint Research Project on International Criminal Procedure.
HiiL and ACIL (Amsterdam Center for International Law) have launched the website of their joint research project titled ‘Towards Codification of General Rules and Principles of International Criminal Procedure’. The website is available at www.icp-ef.org.
The website has a dual objective. Not only is it intended to make the information on the project available to the general public but also to serve as an effective tool facilitating the work of International Expert Framework on International Criminal Procedure: the group of researchers and practitioners which are involved in carrying out the research project. The public part of the website features the information on the project, its objectives, participants, and the schedule. In the restricted area, that can be accessed only by the International Expert Framework participants, there are facilities for uploading and viewing documents and for conducting blog-discussions
The research project ‘Towards Codification of General Rules and Principles of International Criminal Procedure’ aims to elaborate a set of general rules on and principles of international criminal procedure with a further perspective of crystallizing them into a Model Code of International Criminal Procedure.
