HiiL addresses the launching conference of the European Academy on Law and Legislation on Styles of Legislation
On 17 December, the director of HiiL addressed the launching conference of the European Academy on Law and Legislation entitled “Styles of Legislation”, held in the Peace Palace in The Hague. In his address, Dr. Muller debated the challenges which internationalisation presents for legislating at the national level. More specifically, he looked at the multilevel challenge, i.e. national legislation in the interplay between national, regional and international rules, and the effects of non-state rule-making on national law making.
The European Academy on Law and Legislation is one of the three partners with which HiiL joined in the Innovative Rule of Law Initiative (IRI), www.innovativeruleoflaw.org.
