HiiL is looking for a Community Manager (part-time)

The Community Manager contributes to the organisation’s development by increasing the online visibility of HiiL and managing its communities and interest groups.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develops a community management strategy.
  • Attracts, builds and maintains relationships with community members.
  • Initiates, interacts and stimulates discussions, polls, etc. through HiiL websites and social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
  • Provides the project owner for web content with new topics.
  • Connects communities among each other.
  • Participates in relevant community related events.
  • Maintains and expands HiiL’s network.
  • Has supervisory responsibilities.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Communications/Business Administration (majoring in communications) or equivalent, preferably with a legal background.
  • Experience with Community Management (1-3 years).
  • English (proficient).
  • Strong result-orientation.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Supervisory abilities.

  • A part-time position of three days/week in our office in The Hague, the Netherlands.

  • Gross salary between €1.357,20 - €1.566,00 per month for three days/week (scale 8.0 - 8.3, CAO WVOI) depending upon experience.
