Catchy messages motivate urban young to participate in Zimbabwe elections

Mobi-Movement is an innovation that was designed to reach out to youth via mobile phones in an effort to mobilise them to participate in the 2013 general elections. Young people spend time sharing information via social networks that are for free and for minimum charges on mobile devices. Youth in Zimbabwe have in the past not actively taken part in electoral processes as a result of lack of knowledge of the importance of their participation.
