Interdisciplinary teams are mentored to develop innovative legal services

LawWithoutWalls is a partly-virtual collaboratory that develops the skills necessary to provide effective legal services in today’s global, multidisciplinary marketplace. It centres on the intersection of law, business, technology, and innovation. Over a 3-month period, LawWithoutWalls teams up students from global elite law and business schools, including Miami Law, Harvard Law, Wharton, University College London, IE Business, Stanford Law, and Peking University, with mentors to develop business plans tackling the main problems facing legal education and practice today.

The goal is for the team of students and mentors to develop implementable business solutions and cultivate new platforms for legal access and efficiency while honing problem solving, teaming, technology, cultural competency, project management, entrepreneurism and social networking skills applicable to everyday practice.
