A professional association in the legal industry was built to educate and train lawyers on the business of law, innovation and entrepreneurship in the global legal industry.

Participants learn to use the same skills and tools that entrepreneurs use in testing their business models, and launching their enterprises. One of the programmes, LexPreneur, is a weekend workshop for lawyers and law students to test business models for a law firm or business in the legal industry.

A workshop curriculum for lawyers and law students to be trained in the art and science of relationships and social capital was also designed and tested. The workshop, Social Capital Accelerator For Legal Entrepreneurs (SCALE) is structured to accelerate the participant’s ability to build relationships and networks in person and online.
