Ahmed Farah

Ahmed holds an LLM in International and European Law from the University of Amsterdam and an LLB in the same from the University of Groningen. He has worked with HiiL Innovating Justice's Accelerator for two years on projects such as the SME Empowerment Innovation Challenge and the Family Justice Challenge. He previously worked as the Accelerator's Hub Development Officer and has developed relationships between HiiL and various tech hubs, NGOs and other justice stakeholders across Africa.

Ahmed's passion for justice is fueled by challenges that he sees in the daily lives of entrepreneurs in Kenya's artisanal industry. In 2016, he founded Indigene, a collective that enables access to the international market for artisans in Kenya's informal economy.
Ahmed believes that, ultimately, Africa's economic and social development is tied to its ability to ensure the rule of law and justice.
