16 - 17 February 2010: Steering Board Meeting on International Criminal Procedure - Invitation only
On 16 and 17 February the Steering Board of the project “General Rules and Principles of International Criminal Procedure”, funded by HiiL under its Criminal Process and International Crime theme met in Amsterdam. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss interim reports submitted by eleven working groups constituting the International Expert Framework, which works on the project. Each group focused on a selected area of international criminal procedure. At this stage, each working group has submitted a very advanced version of its report, including a detailed outline of the remaining work that has to be done. The Steering Board reflected on these reports, evaluated the progress of the project and decided on the next steps.
The Steering Board of the project is composed by Prof. Göran Sluiter (University of Amsterdam), Prof. Salvatore Zappalà (University of Catania), Prof. Håkan Friman (University College London), Prof. Suzannah Linton (University of Hong Kong). This Steering Board Meeting will be followed by the Third Expert Meeting of the project in June 2010.
